2006 VBS Crafts
Crafts! One of the parts of VBS children consistently say is their favorite part! Also one of the parts of VBS with the most potential of lasting beyond the five days of VBS because if children make something they keep, whenever they see it they can be reminded of the Bible Lesson Point that went along with the craft they made! Definitely has the potential for value beyond being a "time filler"! I like it when Publishers provide churches with both craft books filled with quality craft ideas as well as affordable craft kits that are complete - the key words being "affordable" and "complete". Some publishers make their crafts look affordable, but churches really have to go out and purchase additional supplies in order to complete their crafts, adding to the cost of the crafts. Fortunately there are three companies that provide a wealth of quality craft resources at all price ranges. It is really easy to fit these crafts into your daily lesson points!
