resources for effective children's ministry

More and more we are realizing
the most effective way to teach children and teens is to involve them in
the lesson in an active and interactive way. This also holds true
for adults. If you are not convinced of this, poll the adults in
your church and ask them if they can tell what they really learned from
a recent class they attended. How did it apply to their life and
how did they live it in their day-in-day-out lives? If you do not
get substantive answers, maybe it is because adults need to be involved
actively as well. We need to provide interesting, relevant and challenging opportunities for adults/parents to learn and apply God's Word to their lives. If our parents are participating in active and interactive
classes they will be much more prepared and willing to teach their children
at home.

Adult curriculum |
Just because we are adults we
do not need to stop enjoying and learning from adult classes. Many
churches have seen a dramatic drop in attendance in their adult studies
- most adults just do not have time for something they perceive as boring,
non relevant and out of step with their needs. Group's "Apply-it-to-Life"
Adult Bible Curriculum provides opportunity for adults to study relevant
topics in an active and interactive format that helps build relationships
among adults while they learn how to live what they learn.
