resources for effective children's ministry

    One of the primary responsibilities we have as CE directors and teachers is to help equip, encourage and train parents to teach their children at home.  Many parents are looking for resources to help them effectively help their children learn what we believe and how that applies to our day-in-day-out lives.  The following two book reviews are about two resources parents can utilize with their entire family to help them pass on "a legacy of faith" to their children.

    Max & Ron wrote and illustrated this book to provide a tool parents could utilize with their children to help "prepare children to be so familiar with their Heavenly father's voice that when He calls them or speaks to them, they will hear and willingly obey with joy because they have come to know Him intimately."  It has been awarded the Evangelical christian Publishers Gold Medallion Award in Gift Book Category and absolutely deserves it!

    This book is the companion volume to "Tell Me the Story" and will successfully provide parents with excellent resources to aid them in helping their children - of all ages - learn the "secrets of life" . . . secrets of forgiveness, peace, victory, love, growth, greatness and coming home.  It was awarded the Evangelical Christian Publishers Gold Medallion Award in Gift Book Category and absolutely deserves it!
