Training is one of the key elements to effective ministry and yet it is often something we put off and truly struggle with even though we know it is important. I am delighted to have the opportunity to include a review of Children's Ministry Magazine Live and enthusiastically recommend this training opportunity as one churches will walk away from with doable information they will be able to put to use in their own ministries. I would like to thank Pastor Nate Wagner for attending and reviewing Children's Ministry Magazine Live for us.
I found this workshop to be well put together and facilitated with a sound balance of theory and practical tools. I am impressed with the use of the Needs Pyramid and the solid translation into a Biblical model. I appreciated the quality use of video to engage and teach. The group work projects and object lessons were interesting and contributed to the fun and enthusiastic environment. The momentum initiated in the opening carried through to the end, meaning there were few lulls in the program leaving me wanting more and looking forward to the new set-up for next year which will allow for more information, interaction and instruction.I would highly recommend Children's Ministry Magazine Live to anyone involved in Children's ministry as well as those in youth ministry as I found it transferable to teen ministry as well. I plan to use much of the information for future training with children and youth leaders. On a scale of 1-10, with 10 being high, my humble opinion would rate this workshop between a 7 and 8. I believe that it accomplished what it was designed to do, showing once again that Group Publishing/Children's Ministry Magazine is on the forefront of casting vision and developing leaders for effective church ministry.
