It is perfect for home and for use at church as well - anytime you want

This book is based on
"an old legend, discovered in a monastery in Sicily" and is similar the
the story of the "Little Drummer Boy" where the littlest fir tree
had nothing to bring to the birth of the King's Son . . . except his thanks
and praise shown by helping others.

at a time of year when the focus far too often is on receiving

I remember using picture
readers when I was young - I always loved them as they enabled me to "read".

As adults we get so busy with our
jobs, families, church - with our lives that we stress out, but this is
not just limited to adults. Even children have lives that are too
busy - children are more stressed today than ever. We need to help
our children - and ourselves - learn to trust, learn to dream, learn to
enjoy the life God has given us. I recommend this book for families

I truly enjoyed this book!
What happens if we listen for God's quiet things? This delightful
book challenges children - and perhaps parents and teachers as well - to
listen for God's quiet things. Things like butterflies or rain or
clouds or the morning dew and then encourages us all to see God in His
quiet creations!

There are so many wonderful
books that tell the christmas story - they are all wonderful because they
tell the most wondrous story of all time - the birth of Jesus! I
like this story book because it is creative and interactive!

to open and learn interesting facts about Bible time life and the birth
of Jesus

for children who are just learning to read. Joash has always been
one of my favorite Bible stories - the kid who got to be king! this
book tells the story of Joash for beginning readers to read themselves
or for parents, older siblings or teachers to read to younger children.
