This reproducible resource has advice and information on how you can build a strong Sunday School at your church. It is a handbook of tried-and-true ideas and ready-to-use resources designed to create enthusiasm in your church for your Children's Ministry.

  • Chapter One explains how to use this resource most effectively and provides you with a calendar you can use to plan your events.

  • Chapter Two concentrates on promoting your Children's Ministry to children. It gives you ideas on how to hold theme days, develop a class VIP, do follow-up, hold contests where every child is a winner, hold poster contests, give awards, hold class parties, and gives your information to think about in regards to what to call your Children's Ministry. There are also 42 pages of reproducible clip art, posters, name tags, certificates, bookmarks and postcards, just to name a few.

  • Chapter Three provides information to help you promote your children's ministry to the parents. You will find excellent ideas for bulletin inserts, how to develop a parent of the week ministry, how to encourage parent feedback, how to put together your own brochure for your ministry, and includes special reproducible articles for parents. The following 30 pages are full of reproducible resources for your bulletins that serve to help parents understand the value of your children's ministry.

  • Chapter Four's focus is on the teachers and helps you learn how to begin an appreciation ministry to your teachers, develop a newsletter, encourages you to put in writing the job description for your teachers, and how to have effective training. You are then given 31 pages of resources such as, thank you cards, award certificates, and bulletin flyers for trainings - just to name a few. I especially liked the "Top 10 Reasons to come to our Teacher's Meeting" flyer!

  • Chapter Five helps you target new teachers by giving you ideas that really work on recruiting by providing information on publicity, skits, gimmicks, and sample recruiting letters. You then have 21 reproducible pages with bulletin inserts and skits to help you recruit. I really like the "footprints" flyer!

  • Chapter Six helps you learn how to communicate to church leaders by helping you learn to effectively communicate your ministry and goals and gives three pages of cartoons and flyers to assist you in doing so.

  • Chapter Seven helps you learn to connect with your congregation by using bulletin inserts, skits, music, videos, announcements, open houses, prayer reminders, and prayer partners. You will find 22 pages of truly effective bulletin inserts, skits, and announcements following this section.

  • Chapter Eight winds it all up with helping you learn to effectively contact the community by giving you information on how to hold a friendship day, develop handouts and invitations, how to hold special interest classes/workshops, and to have outreach events. This is followed by 31 pages of clip art and flyers.
