I have recently listened to one of the best songs for teacher appreciation/recruiting I have ever had the pleasure to hear! It is a song by Twila Paris entitled, "Jesus In You". This is a song with a strong and moving message and is excellent as an accompaniment song for a video.
Jesus In You
CD - Where I Stand
Artist - Twila Paris
Writer - Twila Paris
Record Company - Sparrow MusicI have found making music videos of our children's ministry to show in church accompanied by someone singing a particular song with a strong message, to be one of the most effective avenues of showing appreciation and expressing a need for additional volunteers. Over the years I have utilized a number of excellent songs as the accompaniment for the message to our videos - many of which have been reviewed in previous issues of "About the Children's Department" and "About the Youth Department". "Jesus In You" is not as familiar a song as many of the others reviewed, but it has just as strong and powerful a message as any of these other songs and makes a truly exceptional song to accompany a video for recruiting and appreciation of teachers.
Favorite Features:
- strong message
- when combined with video of your children and teachers will make a moving thank you as well as communicate the value of teaching
I used this song with video of our kids and teachers for an appreciation video just a couple of weeks ago - there were not many dry eyes as the message is so powerfully communicated in this song, especially when combined with video footage. I highly recommend this song for a recruiting and/or appreciation video! Extremely well done Twila and Sparrow!
