RUCRUITING LIFELINE

HOT RECRUITING IDEA!

Over the years I have found one of the most effective tools for recruiting and thanking teachers was to produce our own "music video".  In the archive area of this site, under seasonal ideas, I wrote about utilizing video to recruit and thank teachers (feel free to look that article up), but in each of our issues from this point on, I would like to highlight a song that would make a terrific song to make a video from.  Remember, if you do decide to utilize any of the reviewed songs, be sure to have someone in your church actually sing the song for your video - don't copy it as copyright laws come into play here.

In this issue the recommended song is the new Wayne Watson song, "For Such A Time As This" from the CD, "The Way Home".  This is an absolutely amazing song as it communicated the truth of how God placed us on the earth at this time to serve and glorify Him in a truly powerful way!  This song is an excellent one to utilize to thank current volunteers and reaffirm to them the importance of what they are doing as well as send a powerful message to potential volunteers!  I enthusiastically recommend, "For Such A Time As This" for all churches to utilize as an effective tool to help recruit and encourage volunteers.  I also recommend the cassette or CD, "The Way Home" as an excellent item to consider presenting each teacher or your teacher of the year to thank them for serving in the education ministry of your church.  If you have any feed-back about this resource please e-mail it to me.  Thanks!  Extremely well done Wayne and Word!
