These fascinating and powerful novels draw the reader back into time as they "see" the horror, hope and history of the birth of the Nation of Israel. Following the "lives" of the characters provides the reader with a glimpse of history while reading a superbly crafted novel. I highly recommend these novels for teens and adults alike as not only will they find the books to be ones they can not put down, but they will also see how God fulfilled His promises to the Nation of Israel. Extremely well done Bodie, Brock and Viking!

well written fiction used as a tool to teach and encourage the readers to understand the truth of the importance of praying for your family, passing on a legacy of faith from one generation to the next and the importance of daily commitment to marriage - excellent!
characters the reader will care about
setting teaches much about Scottish history adding to the interest as well as historical information about World War II and the years after the war

As I have mentioned, I personally enjoy reading historical fiction because not only do I get the opportunity to enjoy a well written novel, but I also end up with a glimpse into the past. The Stonewycke Legacy builds on the first three novels, The Stonewycke Trilogy, and continues the stories of the lives of the characters first introduced in the Trilogy and brings us along as they discover Christ and how to live lives in daily dependence on Him. These stories are exciting, well written and enjoyable to read - an added bonus is how they will also encourage the reader in their own walk with Christ! Extremely well done Michael, Judith and Bethany House!
