KID STUFF - Spring 2000

resources for effective children's ministry

There are so many wonderful books available for children - books that teach them about Jesus, Bible people and just for fun! Make it a point to spend time reading books to your children and then talking about what you read. As in most issues of "About the Children's Department" we will look at some more books to use in church and at home. Consider selecting a few books each month that tie in with the bible lessons being taught at church or the application of those lessons and then have these books be your 'books of the month' and encourage parents to check them out of the library to read to their children at home.
