resources for effective children's ministry

Kate in Florida sent this great idea that helps you involve the youth in your children's ministry. Thank you Kate!
"As a fund raiser, the teens can offer to "babysit" for an evening at church so parents can get a night out. One activity can involve each child decorating their own large cardboard box as a car and settling in for a 'drive-in' movie on the VCR. The teens can even bring around the popcorn and juice."
This could be done as a fund raiser or not, depending on your church, but it would be a great opportunity to involve the youth in a very fun and effective outreach to the parents in your church or even in your community. Thank you again Kate for the great idea!
