Corner
As we look at effective youth ministry for the end of this millennium and the beginning of the next, I believe we must return to the form that God intended - parents teaching, challenging and encouraging their children to trust Christ and to
learn to live a life that glorifies God as they build a relationship with God that is real. The role of the church is to support and encourage parents as they teach their children/youth and then to supplement and reinforce that teaching at the church. In this issue of "About the Youth Department" we will look at resources to help parents learn to parent their teens effectively as well as a variety of resources for effective youth ministry in the church.
As you look at the coming year of ministry, what do you see as your greatest challenges and needs? Feel free to e-mail
your questions and we will try to find some answers to help.
Best wishes for a terrific year of ministry!
Lynda:)
