Hello! Welcome to our first edition of "About the Youth Department"!
It is our desire to aid you in your ministry to teens by providing information
on available resources and ideas to help you be as effective as possible.
If you have questions about resources or ministry feel free to e-mail them
to us and we will try to find some answers for you. If you have an
idea for Youth Ministry you are willing to share - please e-mail them to
us as well! We hope this resource will prove to be useful and valuable
to you as you strive to have effective youth ministry in your church and
community.
In this issue we will be looking at Josh McDowell's "Right from Wrong"
resources. Our youth are bombarded with relativism at school and
these resources will help you help the parents teach teens there really
are absolutes based on Who God is! I recommend taking the month of
September and make it your "Right from Wrong" month - church wide . . .
the results should make a major impact on the youth and families in your
church.
We have also reviewed several other excellent resources for youth ministry
as well as some resources we recommended for parents and youth leaders
to encourage teens to utilize. Please take a moment to e-mail us
to let us know what you think of any of the recommended resources and how
they worked for you. We really do appreciate your feed-back!
